Individual, Couple, Family and Group Psychotherapy/Counseling is
offered to residents of assisted and independent living
communities on a weekly basis for those in need. Therapy is
provided by Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and
Psychologists that are assigned to your facility on an as needed
basis. All of our Clinicians have extensive experience working
with the elderly and understand the specific emotional and
mental needs that arise within this population.
Therapists can be of tremendous assistance to the resident and
staff in transitioning from independent living to assisted
living communities. They also provide educational information
and emotional support to spouses, family members and other
people involved in your resident’s care.
All therapy is conducted on-premises at the ALF/ILF, and
relevant facility staff members are informed of the resident’s
progress and treatment plans (within HIPPA guidelines and with
the informed consent of the patient/or guardian). Our LCSW’s are
available to assist in crisis situations as well as to evaluate
patients requiring partial hospitalization and in-patient
services.
Medication Management
Medication management is provided by licensed Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioners (ARNP’s), who are under the supervision of a
psychiatrist. Our ARNP's provide a unique blend of health care,
maintenance and emotional support that form the core of our
comprehensive service. ARNP’s are capable of prescribing
medication and changing medication as needed, and have protocol
agreements with psychiatristsFor Adults -
