Assisting the Newly Sober Adult Soar in New Recovery is the goal
of the Visiting PsychMed program in Group Home/Half-way House
settings. Our clinicians assist your residents to reach their
highest potential in the comfort of your facility.
Individuals progress through addiction treatment at various
rates, so there is no pre-determined length of treatment.
However, research has shown unequivocally that good outcomes are
contingent on adequate treatment length. Generally, for
residential or outpatient treatment, participation for less than
90 days is of limited effectiveness, and treatment lasting
significantly longer is recommended for maintaining positive
outcomes. The program is effective in the treatment of
Alcoholism and/or Substance Abuse and any of the following
disorders:
Depression •
Adjustment Disorders
Affective
Disorders • Phobias
Psychotic
Disturbances • Anxiety
Bipolar
Disorder • Grief & Loss
Panic Attacks
